Alngith Corporation is an Aboriginal organisation established by the Alngith land owners in Wypa (Napranum and Weipa in the Western Cape York of Queensland), Australia.

• The Alngith people established the Alngith Corporation in 2001 with the commencement of a range of Indigenous land agreements with the expansion of the Rio Tinto mine including: the Weipa Township Agreement and the Western Cape Communities Coexistence Agreement between our people, the Township and Rio Tinto where Algnith and Western Cape Traditional landowners negotiated a range of social, cultural and economic benefits for our people, land and culture.
• Additionally, Alngith people through native title participate in the Weipa Peninsula PBC and cultural heritage rights. 
• Algnith people have managed the natural and cultural resources and ensured the well-being of our people, including social, cultural and economic and with the coming of significant permanent presence of non-Alngith people is requiring a 7 generation roadmap to embed a new response to address systemic intergenerational disparity, colonial legacies and intergenerational trauma. 
• Alngith we are guided by the Seventh Generation Principle.  We know that decisions being made about Alngith energy, water, and natural resources, and ensuring those decisions are sustainable for seven generations in the future.
